I will always run 91 Shell in my car otherwise I get a CEL. But if you are not tuned for it the regular stuff should work fine for you!

87 octane is enough stock, though at higher elevations you must increase the octane rating. matt that sucks you can only use 91 around by me sunoco sells 94

I'm shafted into running 93 exclusively here in Illinois. Then again, the 32v requires it.

I think some places only have 92 unless I'm not remembering correctly. BP and any large name station has 93, as it is the "common premium" around here. 92 is at weird ones like Jewel Express, Meijer, etc. I stick to large name gas stations. However, if I go on the right day I can pick up 93 for a little under 3 dollars a gallon. They offer 15 cents off a gallon on certain days.

I don't see the need to run any higher in the car. If there was a Chevron/Sunoco around here, I'd probably do it for kicks. Only place to get Sunoco is the track, and its octane rating is obviously far too high.

Yep I've got 32 valves as well... so premium all the way. 99% of pumps in WA offer 87, 89, and 92 octanes. I stick to Chevron or 76 and right now the CHEAPEST 92 octane is $3.10/gal here. Lowest it's been all year.
