Getting rid of miles

would upgrading the internals, getting a new blow, heads, cams, intake, plenum, tb, air intake, pulleys, belts, and etc. be like getting a whole new engine and not really having to worry too much about the mileage?

I have 123.5K and I am modding mine still! lol Granted I do plan on reworking just about everything, but I will be putting a lot more stress on my short block with my raised compression and cams! lol I am not worried!
