Wait... so let me get this straight. 96-98 GT's, the ones that I've heard a lot of you say don't breath above 5000 because of the NPI motors, redline 350 rpm higher then my 04 GT PI motor??? I'm not so sure about that. I could be wrong, and if I am please correct me, but I'm not so sure those engines redline at 6100.

think what you would like. we all have our opinions.

5750 is where your tq. peaks. not your redline.

Uhhh... last time I checked my car is not rice nor does it come with a cam from hell right from the Ford lot, so the torque does not peak right before or right at redline. My TQ peaks at 4000, my HP peaks at 5250.

Also last time I checked, redline is when the tachometer turns... dare I say it... RED, which is at 5750. Now, my R-E-V L-I-M-I-T-E-R is set to 6250. But as far as I'm aware the rev limiter and redline are two compeltely dif... unless... OH NO!!! WHO THE HELL CHANGED THE MEANING OF REDLINE TO REV LIMITER AND FORGOT TO TELL ME. SON OF A BIT... oh, heh heh, never mind, the meaning or redline never did change.

Our cars redline at 5750 bud...

don't talk to me like I am 16.
I'm no one near that age.
and you knew exactly what I meant.
I know the difference between red line and rev limiter.

your tq should peak closer to 4800 rpms.

you really don't need to be a smart ass about it.

smart asses seem to leave our forums quickly.
and usually it isn't of their own doing.

Sorry for sounding like an ass... I've had a really shitty day at work. I've been screamed at by more customers then I can count. I guess I kinda just started to vent and just got carried away.

Every website I've been on says my torque peaks at 4000.

it happens to the best of us.

don't worry about it.

websites for numbers. they only way to learn is to do it yourself.

I know my GT peaks at 4800 because I data log using a wideband 02 sensor and an xcal2
