weather conditions causing over heat or something else??????


so today i noticed my car was running hot not redline stop driving now hot but it was teatering right on the L in NORMAL to me that seems running hot compared to normal im wondering if its due to the weather or something else

the weather today is 95 with 50+% humidity and i was in stop and go city traffic with the A/C going heat index was over 100

i will tomorow but i do know its never hapend up until today when it was this hot and humid and the a/c was cranking i drove home after letting it sit for a while and on the way home on highway it was just fine

just get a 160 or 180 stat...should fix it..and flush out the radiator..

dont get a 160 degree stat! lol get a 180 stat if you are changing stats, but dont go and buy anything yet

i was thinking of doing the 180 stat and radiator flush with some wetter water i guess its gona be done a lil sooner then i planned lol drove it tonight all around not a prob so im pretty sure it was the day time extreme heat and humidity mixed with the stop and go city traffic

its doesn't through a CEL... mine gets away with it...

the only thing is winter might suck ... but im very fortunate on hot summer days

hopefully it was just luck of the draw... unluck ... but you never know it could be something horrible like a busted fan blown fuse short bad relay or even worse oil and coolant mixing etc.
