what exactly does detonation sound like?
I'm curious ..... how do you know if you are experiencing detonation?....what does it sound like and will it make the car do anything noticable as it occurs? I know the after effects can be terrible but i have no idea how to tell.

youll def know that something is not right. and emmidiatly get out of the throttle. the afteraffects like you said can be devastating. anyways its no fun and you fell it and hear it
