I'm getting a good bit of heat from the center consol.. so I'm thinkin that my tranny fluid may be low. It wouldn't hurt to change anyway. SO... Where are the plugs? The bottom is the drain plug and top is the fill. It goes a little easier if you take the fill one out first then the drain one out. bbrewer03 Regular Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Kentucky Posts: 129	So the manual transmissions do have fluid in them? I have been told so many things about this topic I dont know what to believe. When I first purchased my 97 GT I did all the normal maintenance things. One of the things I wanted to do was this. I was told that manual trans did not need fluid. That it had more of a grease type stuff in it and it never has to be changed. I wanted to put the purple stuff in it. So am I reading this right? You can changed your manual trans fluid. __________________ 1997 GT Cobra R Hood, Cobra Front bumper, MSD plug wires, Bosch +4 plugs, Tailights, Projector headlights, 18x9 chrome bullet wheels in front and 18x10s in back, Tunable Induction Cold air intake, flowmaster mufflers with chrome 18"x 4" wide tips.

And it denfinaly needs to be changed sometimes! __________________ We expect shit to break, look foward to realizing exactly when it is happening, and than obsess about dropping plenty of cash to rebuild stronger, so we can try to run it hard as hell and break again. We are sick individuals.
