Brake booster

I am swapping my 3.8L for a 2000 4.6L in my '96 mustang. Will the brake booster that was in the car clear the 4.6? Thanks

If it is a vacuum brake booster ,no. Ford went to the hydroboost system to allow room for the modular's wider upper end. So if you have a hyroboost your good if not you'll need one from a donor car.

yes with some work, or you could do a manual brake booster(Idon't recommend it on a street car)

Removal of exsisting booster, installation of hydroboost with lines (expensive) minor bending of tubintg to align with new booster..... It is not a easy job, I am being very brief in detail....

Hydroboost is just over 400 bucks from Ford.

I found a complete hydroboost system. Any one know where I can find a good write up on making this conversion? Thanks for your help.
