Tires on my 17x9.5 inch rims
I whats the widest tire i can slap onto my 17x9.5 chrome cobra r's? I have 245/ 45's on there now but i want a wider tire w/o having to get new rims....

i have a related question, i ordered some 17 x 9 FR500 rims and would like to use 2 of my current Falken tires that have plenty of tread left on em, would they fit? I beleive the stock rims are 17 x 8 and the 255 35s that are on them are slightly oversized.

255 would fit but it would be skinny. A 275 is perfect for a 17x9 wheel.
