I'm not sure cause mine came with everything I needed for the swap... I think Ive read on here that it will work if you only put in one bolt but not 2.
I would ask Matt or Boomer or some of the other guys on here with "massive" mustang knowledge.

Honestly, mine just cracked. I hardly ever drive it hard unless Im in the mood to play or someone pushes me to run. With these sorry NPI intakes, they can crack just from starting it up too many times. Regular, conservative driving will do it as well. Now i would definately say running the piss out of it will increase the chances of it cracking

I usually drive mine conservitively, but I usually find reasons to drive the hell out of it. Most of the time taking the long way home with open stretches of road, or hitting the track on weekends. I am not sure what caused it. it has 145k miles on it so i give it credit for its old age.

LOL mine cracked at like 70,xxx. I had a bunch of coolant in my plugs holes. It sucked. But I had a warranty on it. I say just do the silicon. No point in spending the extra cash when this way will work just fine.

Jersey, just do it! If you have around $300, its well worth it. I'm doing mine tomorrow.

A lot of work! lol you have to take the timing components off to do the head swap! If you dont feel comfortable dont do it!
