Sold the GT...no more Casper98gt

As you know i was in the process of seling. Just sold it this weekend at Fun ford weekend to someone in Boston,MA

Let it go for 7500.00 which is a steal. but oh well. Someone got a killer deal on it.

Tried for a 2003 Vette Zo6. Financing wasnt a problem but got to the insurance company and that was the problem. WAY too much money for Full coverage and the payment each month. haha. So that went down the drain.

I think its back to a fox for me. Now i just gotta find one. Just thought i would let everyone know.

Casper, to bad you are not a little closer to here. There are a ton of nice foxes for sale on the local forum here, if you don't mind the travel Michigan is the place tolook for cars right now. The economy is hit here people are loosing jobsleft and right and offing cars for dirt..... $.02

yeah, thanks guys. I wouldnt go GTO, because i hate the look of them. The best thing i would like right now is a vette. But i just cant swing it. Im pretty much still in a shitty sad mood because i never actually thought the day would come where i wouldnt see it anymore.

But i guess on to bigger and better things. Boomer....what do you think the cost would be to ship something up here from Michigan. I live in NEw Hampshire.

Chris, i found a 91 LX with a twin turbo setup in Mass. the dude had a built 306 with TT. And a bunch of other supporting mods. He wants 6800 for it. So thats a though. If not my buddys g/f's brother has a 90 LX under a car cover and has no plans. Only thing it would need is a tranny. Which is cake. If that falls through im gonna wait for a nice clean fox to come by and im 100% sure its getting a turbo. So let me know whats the rock bottom price he can do. Because there are a bunch of turbo places for fox's online.

Yeah that is what I miss about my foxes...

With the money I have spent on my car I would have had both of them in the 10's easily...

then buy badges from vauxhall/holden in Australia then replace the pontiac/gto badges with Vauxhall Monaro VXR badges

then you got what a gto really is.

casper i know exactly how you feel about youselling your stang...i just sold mine because it had a blown motor and i didnt feel like dumping more money into because i had spent a lot...im in the process of looking for a new car also...something awd maybe

yals cars must have been through some crap before yal got em..cuz mine has 190,000 and is running tough and all i do is change the oils when needed..and im modding it each month..
