coil pack to coil on plug conversion

well ive been wanting to do this for a while, and i dont hear much of it. here's what i got going for me. im running an 01 motor with 96 style ignition (coil packs) meaning i have the 96 wiring harness and ecu. im thinking its simple as getting a 99+ wiring harness, and some cops. not sure on a new ecu, but i want a new one anyway (trying to kill some gremlins). so a 99+ wiring harness, 8 cops, and a new ecu is what im thinking, if im missing something let me know.

Ryan, why would you want to run this system. There are no advantages to it... and more disadvantages to it if you ask me. Why would you want a ignition system that coli packs go bad ALOT in. I am changing them at least one job a week at the dealership. Im pretty glad i dont have COP.

Not exactly sure what else you are going to need, but i would just do PCM, and harness. Sensors may be in different locations, but it should work. Keys might be a problem... like programming them for this new PCM. All i can think of...

its mostly to save space in the engine bay, and secondly i believe i need a new harness anyway cause ive been having issues with my o2s not heating up on their own (ive tried 3 different types so im thinking the harnes has a short for the heater wire). its just real busy in the engine bay and this conversion would help me out soooo much. so i need to reprogram the key for the new computer? damn more $$

yes and you are going to need 2 keys when you have someone do it. I wont charge you if you come in on a sat. at 12 o clock. I will program them for you, free of charge. You just gotta have 2 keys for me. Sound good?

Let me know when...
