idle issue

when i start my car it idles fine then once i drive for about 10 15 min and then stop at a light or somthing the idle will go up and down a couple times then it will idle normal. also when i am going down the road at any speed or rpm somtimes it feels like every so often the car has like a jerk to it every couple of seconds and that goes on and off. what could it be the throttle positioning senser or what?
