hey its a Cobra......its made to be opened up once n awhile...
besides Im actually really good with it. occasional burn out and occasional sprint but anyone that know me knows that I baby it and im, always going the safe route with it. just like me thinking about a s/c everyone says i don't need a inercooler n i can run 12lbs boost easy I want to be safe n make sure theres never going to be detonation problems... so im only gonna go for around 8lbs with an innercooler... and I always make sure all the fluids are changed and everything is good! im so good with my car that after running it in warm weather i get home n put a fan infront of the car to cool it down... now who does that? lol I take really good care of my car!

man i car i an excellent condition. came with cobra rims on some 18s tires, was dropped. I spoke with a lot of people who looked at the car and thought it was a good deal considering it was convertible, gt, and was undermilged. not sure if thats a word, but whatever, you get the point

I didnt read everything ,but for the price of a 2000GT ,you could spend that on your 98 and be a beast.
I had a 00' GT and loved it. It mainly comes down to styling preference and how much work your willing to do or pay someone else to do.

I believe those HP numbers you gave for the cars is at the flywheel also. Its less at wheels.
