ABS Light

What could be causing my ABS light to be going off? I just got my new wheels on there and ever since my light has been going off!!

ya knocked your abs sensor loose.

I only checked the fronts, but they are still bolted on. Nothing looks out of place.

check to see if the tone ring is damaged

its part of the sensor.

clean and re-seat the ABS sensors

it's a literal ring.

if cleaning them up doesn't work you might have a bad sensor.

you will need to have the abs codes pulled to see what is exactly the problem
a basic tuner can't do that.
you need an abs tool. most repair shops have them.

Damn thats a lot of work! lol

Do I even need to check the rears? I really dont want to unbolt those Slicks right now! And is it safe to drive with the abs light on until tommorow or tues night? It just means I wont have ABS right?

you should be fine to drive.

you just won't be as safe as you would be with it on
