exhaust

I have a 97 gt and it has borla muffelers and stock headers and stock mid pipe. And i want to get a new mid pipe, should i get an x or h pipe, and what kind should i get.

check out our exhaust clip section to get to know what each different mid pipe sounds like.

Im confused should i get an x pipe or h pipe and what are the differences.

the only differnece is sound and about 1-2hp

x's dyno a little higher, but IMO an H pipe just sound throatier.......

ur really not gonna feel a difference between the 2

I was looking at the mac h pipe, would that fit my borla. and stock header.

make sure it's for ur car though.....u don't want to wind up with n h-pipe for a 5.0 or a cobra

it depends on ur local emission laws...

or if u can find a shop who can pass u......

otherwise i'd stick to a high flow cat pipe
