fading paint...

i'm looking into 97-98 GT's and cobra's. well, i found a cobra with what looks like good body paint, but the molding around the tail light is more faded then the body paint, is this normal wear? by the way, this cobra has just over 16k on it, and the guy is selling it for 11,400, i know thats not a bad price, but i'm just curious on what u guys think. thanks.
