jbm5781 Regular Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Hattiesburg,MS Posts: 234	PI intake leak I put my PI intake in a few weeks ago and it has been perfectly fine ever since. Now, I have coolant leaking from the thermostat housing where it connects to the intake itself. It does have the aluminum crossover and seems to be leaking from where the aluminum housing seats onto the plastic manifold. Any ideas on how to fix this? Its not a major leak but you never know with these kind of things. __________________ Who cares what your import looks like... They'll all be laughing at you at the finish line.

jbm5781 Regular Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Hattiesburg,MS Posts: 234	Its almost like its leaking from the crossover. It's leaking where the metal crossover meets the plastic manifold. Not really the housing, more like the seal between the bottom of the housing and the top of the manifold. I tried taking a few pics but you can't really see it. __________________ Who cares what your import looks like... They'll all be laughing at you at the finish line.

Ive never done it,but the neon coolant should show up easily with that,and you may be able to spot the leak. __________________ Fryrice has left the building.

I saw a small bubble earlier on the back of the housing at the seam between the housing and manifold. I'm guessing thats where its coming from, but I'm not sure how to stop it. Fryrice Hardcore Enthusiast Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: VA Posts: 2,034	If your talking about the rim of the t-stat housing where its flat to the crossover ,then its coming from the inside the housing. You might wanna pop that off and take a look at that o-ring and make sure its in there and in the right position. Try the black light to. You can buy a bulb at Wal-mart and just put in a a hanging light like you would use in the garage or under the car. At night of course.
