98 mustang exhaust, need help

Ok i know there are some options for the exhaust. I want an exhaust with a loud muscle sound, I know that might sound of broad, but my question also has to do with emissions. What can i put on my mustang with it passing emissions too? Are there several options or just one option? I know about the h pipe or x pipe. Many people say its the same, just depends on person. I need some help also, if i wanted long tubes with a shorty pipe, will it still pass emissions or would it be a hassle putting on and taking off? Cmon fellas need some help. also what is the best product out there for exhausts?

u should really use the search feature.....there are like 3 links like this on the main NPI page as it is......

but long tubes will garuntee u a fail in emissions....

ur gonna have to search around the exhaust section of our site and listen to peoples clips....... the sounds can be so broad..

offroad pipes with out cats = failing too so exhaust when under that restraint is really hard...and you cant have alot of power without it so idk what to tell you really

I have a Magnaflow Magnapack cat back system on my '98 and I've gotten nothing but compliments on it. It's one of the loudest exhaust systems out there and it definitely has a deep growl to it...especially just sitting at idle.

Not always, I have'nt had cats on my 98 and passed emmisions for the last 4 years. OBD2 computered cars dont get the tailpipe sniffer, just the computer plugged in to them. So either MIL's or a tuner and your set.
