Test Drove a 98 Mustang GT Today

I just got done test driving a 1998 Mustang GT. He is asking 5800 for it. It was in excellent condition and drove really nice. It had a few upgrades such as intake, exhaust, etc. The problem is the vehicle is a "lemon buy back" car, and states this on the title. How much would you offer for it? Anyone have any experience with this? What do you think this does to the value?

Thanks

i'd stay away from it.......

there was most likely something signifigantly wrong with the car, that even after fixing multiple times and couldn't be repaired, the dealer was forced to purchase the vehicle back from the owner.

even if the car was in great condition id never buy a 96-98 GT ever again, go with a cobra 96-98 or a 5.0

Too slow.

Need to have a P.I. Swap before you can even think about making any kind of power at all.

I sold my very clean 98 with a clean title for $3k so I would say $5,800 is a bit much for a lemon.
