PI parts, what should i look for when buying?


im going to check out a full PI setup tommorrow, the guy wants around $300 for it. Im willing to spend that if its in good condition. does price sound about right? also, what are some things i would check for to see what kind of condition its in? thanks for any info!

check to see if it has press on cam gears or bolt on

make sure all the valves are there, with springs if they are assembled and just make sure it looks straight and not warped

okay ill make sure i check those things out haha i know i asked if $300 is a good deal in that last thread but i dont want to thrash his.

well u will want to take the heads if used to a machine shop to get a valve job done
