Wont Start

So I got up to go to PT (ARMY) this morning and the car cranked and drove fine...same after PT to get me home. well 1.5hours later when i got in it to go to work. it would not turn over. I initially thought it was the battery, but I have a Optima red top...it obvious that power is not the problem. it wont even turn over...I am assuming that it is the starter...is that right?

how is your power in the car?

lights/radio..

and when it cranks... do you hear the motor trying to turn over.. or do you hear clicks?

power is good....nope no clicks at all

try it in neutral my car does that sometimes it wont even attempt to crank in park put i throw it in neutral and it cranks just fine
