After looking over all my pics from my swap, I don't think you'll have any trouble getting to them. They are pretty much in front or behind the TB so you should be good to go. You may have to move the injector wires out of the way so you can get down to them but I think you'll be fine. I didn't have much trouble at all.

Hey bro not a problem. I know I needed help when I did mine (did it by myself in the carport). If you need any more help with it, don't hesitate to holla at me. Good luck with it all and let me know how it all comes out... BTW 2 things to look out for... 1) if you haven't replaced your water pump or taken it off for any reason, it may give you a little trouble. Mine acted like it was welded on. I had to take a piece of wood and hammer to it. 2) The 2 bolts that hold the coolant tube in place are on the back of the motor. They are pretty hard to get to because they are tucked in a pretty tight space. You will only have to put 1 back in once you change to the new tube. Other than that, it should be pretty easy.

Mines still cracked and leaking though......not in the crossover, but in the back passenger side. Right were the coolant tubed meets the intake.

Ah... still time for a PI huh... good times... much fun

Thats odd that it cracked right there. Mine was cracked in the usual spot on the crossover.

Don't forget to re-tighten everything after it cools off. You'll see the difference.
so what after you silicone it and let it sit over night.... you take it out with all the bolts loose?

nooooo, i think he's saying that u should double check and make sure everything stayed torqued down...

ever swap ur headers? after a week or so u ussually have to retorque everything otherwise u get a slight leak.

No you torque everything down FIRST then take it out, run it, let it cool off and re-torque the bolts. Metal expands and cotracts with heat and cold. Its just a safety precaution.

I was wondering when Matt would chime in. He's the most knowledgable pre-20 year old I've ever met. He's the one who helped me with my swap.

Since you already have a PI, you may not know this and if you do, please don't take offense. For the PI intake to work on the NPI heads, you have to make a small bead of silicone to create a makeshift gasket along the front left and rear right intake ports. If you don't do this, you will end up with a major coolant leak. The PI gaskets don't perfectly match up to the NPI ports and leaves a small gap there.

here are some pics, you can see the difference in the ports with the gaskets on the heads.

I got these from MustangMatt they will help you see that you have to fill in 2 ports to make it work and it definately has to sit and cure otherise it will leak and will negate everything you just did!
