brake upgrade

Does anyone have any recomendations for upgrading the brakes on my 96 gt convertible? I dont need full all out racing brakes or anything like that and I dont want to have to take out a loan either. Just a good quality upgrade.

Whats wrong with stock brakes? I have stock calipers and ceramic pads and I like them!

Cobra are nice, but you can't fit 15" wheels on them. Weld Prostar XP were only around a short while.

Or am I wrong? I want Weld wheels but I think 17" is the minimum you can run.
