Post PI swap Mileage and Power
I have a set of PI heads and I need to buy a PI intake. I am trying to decide if its worth it to get a Track Heat intake or P-51. They cost alot more but if it will make me 20-30 more HP its worth it. At any rate, I am curious as to the mileage people get with the PI swap, and the differance they felt when they get on it. I am planning on getting the heads ported as well, so I want to know, what differance that has made if anyone has done it to mileage, i know numbers wise the differance for power. But I want subjective info, I want to know the Bad Ass factor.

most of those intakes are best with FI, if i was going to go with an aftermarket intake for pi heads, and was planning on spending my money wisely, i would get the bullitt intake, its been proven time and time again to pick up power, where as the others are very iffy

pi swap
I had my 98 swapped last Nov.('06) The power feels much more potent. It pulls and keeps on pulling. I have all new pi stuff, without any special intake. I love mine, but go all the way if you are going and get a good intake like it looks like you are doing. As far as gas mileage, you are looking at pretty much the same as before. I don't have gears so mine is 20-26 mpg.
