mine cracked in the back right around cylinders 3 + 4.

coolant was all over the plug wires and injectors for those two cylinders.

i don't think u power shift matt, i think u speed shift.

powershifting is when u don't take ur foot off the gas. U slam the car out of gear as ur stepping down on the clutch so by the time ur foot hits the floor ur in second.

im getting all the hoses, replaced new water pump and a new t stat...stock should be just fine... also i got quoted 500 for gears labor and parts? good price?

find out exactly what he's doing when he does ur rear end. My shop quoted me at 4, and when it was all said and done it came out to like 6 because they were only going to do the gears and not the full install.

just the gears and lube and speedo gear, he said for bearings and stuff which he thinks i wont really need ( my dad drove the car to 72k its now at 83k) its going to be 60 extra

dude, don't do it that way. If ur going to get gears put in ur car make sure u have them do a complete rebuild. Ur miles are too hi. Even if u don't need it, u should. Ur rear end is a mod u really shouldn't cheap out on.

now for the complete rebuild it is going to add another 250 + the original 500 im just going to put the gears in and replace the pinion bearing i think
