i have 2 mustangs a 97 gt and an 01 gt....i guy i know is willing to trade his 1997 trans am...how does it match up against my 97 gt?? is it worth trading??is the car faster and have more capability? my 97 gt is stock by the way

no. the trans am is a dog.

it's a v6 as well.

a 97 Trans Am is about a second or more faster then ur 97....

it's a 5.7 350......LT1. good for 285 crank HP.

there a bitch to work on but are a good platform to mod.

if ur lookin for more speed than definitely go with the trade , but im not the biggest fan of the styling of the 97 trans am especially the front end

i love the trans am's, it is a personal preference if you want to trade. a friend of mine has a 97 ram air, it runs really good. if i had an npi car i would jump on that, but i am very partial to them. doesnt take much to make them run.
