What can I do to fixs this DTC p1443

It said it was the Evaporative Emission is flowing low or not flowing. how would I go about fixing this.

first check youre gas cap. On most fords they have a VERy simple EVAP system. I have seen problems with the purge valve before. But without doing a check on the system myself i cant guide you in a certain direction.

It says that there is low to no flow. Could that be a broken line.

These DTC ( diagnostic trouble codes ) are basic and can have multiple problems for the same code. You really need a place that can diag. evap concerns to check it out. Evap is touchy ( even more so on jap cars ). But fords like i said before have pretty basic evap systems. So first i would check the gas cap. If its tight, did you fill up with the car running ? If all this is ok i would go ahead and replace the purge valve. Could be sticking and not letting anything by, or its stuck totally. Could very well have a pinched line. If it had a broken line like you said, you would be getting another code suggesting you have a gross leak.

HX52 DTC P1443: EVAPORATIVE EMISSION SYSTEM VISUAL INSPECTION
Visually inspect for:
EVAP system lines/hoses (check for proper connections, damage or blockage)

Loose fuel vapor hose/tube connections to the EVAP system components.

The vacuum line from the input vacuum port to the intake manifold on the EVAP canister purge valve (the control vacuum solenoid part of the valve) is removed.

Blocked vacuum hose between the EVAP canister purge valve solenoid and the engine intake manifold.

Damaged fuel tank or fuel filler pipe.

Thats fords description. I would replace the purge valve.

Its under the right front wheel well in a 2004 Gt. Removed the wheel well cover and then its in the upper right hand corner.
