Hey, If you all remember I got advise to get the gears first. Well, I am about to buy them and I guess the bearing kit to??? I call a placed down here to see what they would charge.....
He said well.. It will be around 800 to 900 dollars to put them in... Guy Come on... Is it that hard to put them in.. if so oh well but if you think not... I will do it myself!!!

after i got my gears installed my friend broke it down for me step by step so i could understand what i was charged for.
theres a very large chance u can screw something small up that can cause the whole thing to go. if u've never done something like this before, and only have limited hand on expericance, i wouldn't attempt it. |

This is just bullshit IMO, because I know how to do the install, its not hard. But you need to know how to do it, then its so fucking easy. PPL charging that much for a gear install, they know everyone thinks is so damn hard. So they charge you thru the ass. I wouldnt charge no more than probably $200 to do it.
Like its been said though, if you dont have the tools, and your just a guy that changes his own oil, then do not try to do it. (gonna sound like an asshole here) Frankly some ppl just need to learn how to work on their own cars or either just pay the labor costs and dont bitch, after all you are paying for their time, tools, space and knowledge.
