older 5.0's wiegh anywhere from 300-3100 and change
No, our cars are not light, but compared to old hunky muscle cars, and the new muscle cars like the four door chargers, they are a lot lighter and have a lighter rear end. I raced a brand new Charger RT(The Daytona ones) w/ a few mods, said he was pushin 390 w/o pushin the nitrous button) I only have a few small upgrades to a stock motor and I smoked his ass! (Until he hit the nitrous the second race, I took him on the start, then he jumped ahead). So I was just sayin the older cars weighed alot. (With some exceptions to like the mustangs)

A 98 w/ those mods has more if I'm not mistaken. And could u explain what u mean by a 97 only havin 190, when the official numbers say 215(225 on a 98)? I just didn't understand that.

The 215 hp is crank or flywheel hp. We have around 190 base rwhp, hp that actually transfers to the rear tires. You lose hp through the driveline as well as accessories like a/c, etc.

our cars are certainly lighter than the mammoth mercedes' but are by no means light. my geo storm weighs in at 2400lbs... certainly much better handling than my mustang!
