First off welcome to MM!

I have never heard of this problem. Is this only happening on the drivers side? I would pull the door panel off and take a look at it. Look carefully at the wiring and see if there is anything funny.

I had the panel off and I couldn't see any problem. Of course, it's a pretty tight space in there, so there's not that much to look at. It's only on the drivers side. You know how you click it once and it'll go down by itself? Well, it just won't stop.

I would call a ford tech maybe at your local deapership. It sounds like some type of power surge but I am not an expert on that stuff. There may also be some type of module or sensor that tells the motor to stop when the window triggers it. Ask the tech that. Let us know when you figure it out. Sorry cant be more help.

I called the ford house today and they said it could be the regulator or the window motor. someone else has told me it is the motor, so I guess I'll try that first, just not real soon. Will let you know when I find out for sure.

Maybe its a faulty regulator. I doubt its the motor.

Can you take a pic of the drivers side door interior and zoom in on the motor and the regulator. I am now pretty sure its your motor. I was thinkin something else when I said regulator. Just take a pic. That should help a little.

its not your regulator, its probably either the switch or the motor.
does it do this when you use either the drivers side switch or the pass side switch? if it does it on both switches i say motor, but ive never seen a motor do it, so im leaning towards switch
