Pipes again


I guess my Dad found somthing out that the X pipe can acutally slow the car down

Specs on car now

pretty much stock with the stock( H pipe) execpt for magnaflow muffler

can anyone telll me if if they had any problems like there check engine light came on or if it slowed there car down after they got the x pipe on??

you might loose a little bit of TQ in the low rpm range with an O/R x pipe.

and you would also get a cel with an O/R pipe.

but you gain the HP/TQ back in the higher rpm band.

and you can get a tuner or mil's to fix the light.

do know about how much torque and is it notice able when your in the low rpms

nope. don't know.

I went with a catted X pipe.

no cel and I never felt any TQ loss.

this sounds kinda of stupied but

do u mean like the cat is in the X-pipe or .
on the engine side of the pipe like not in the XPipe itself

Your midpipe, x or h, will either have the cats(catilytic converters) built in to them if its catted or will be pipes straight through if it is o/r(offroad).
