Question about tires pressures???

Before I filled up my tires on my 98 GT Auto to 45psi I was able to squawk the tires in second gear. No I noticed that since I have filled them up to 45psi from 29psi I am not able to squawk in second gear anymore. Does the tire pressure have anything to do with this? I have also noticed that before when I was able to squawk them the weather was warmer out, now that it is a little cooler it isnt doing this.

Think about it man. If you put 45 psi in the tires, the tires get hot and expand when your driving and "squawking". Not good. You have to allow room for that expansion ,especially when your "squawkin".

Like GTset said ,30-32.

Im assuming their Z-rated right ?

Your vin tag on your door jam tells you what pressures to set your tires to for your particular vehicle. Dont go by the max pressure on the tire. Tire manufaturers dont know what kind of vehicle that tire is going to be on. They list max pressure for that reason, not recommeded pressure. Always go by the vin sticker on the door jam, thats what its there for. Engineers have put it there with the load ratings because they have tested what best pressures perform on that vehicle the best and safest.
