PI Swapped vs. 99-04

alright, so who would take it between a PI swapped (heads, cams, and intake) GT and a 99-04 GT. assuming both are stock, besides of course, the 98's PI swap

it depends on the gear ratio's of the 98......if it's 2.73 the 99GT is gonna win......

3.27 in them both and it's a drivers race

The swapped car may have bit of a power advantage cuz of the added static compression. Other than that 96Rag is right about a drivers race.

If you have my set-up ,you will take a 99-04 all day. But thats not totally fair wither.

i know i know......it's just ur at where i want to be.....

to tell u the truth Fry, i had lost all faith in modding my car out because i heard it was hard to break that 300 mark.......then u came outta ur sybatical or whatever and i saw how close u were....

not that many people on this site have a respectable sn-95. and when i say respectible, i mean a car that can break into the 12's

Thanks dude. Im like anybody else up here. I gathered my parts a little bit here and there.Shopped around for good deals etc. I love it .Every time I start it up ,it just comes alive . I get compliments almost every day ,even complete strangers just sitting at traffic lights.

The biggest advantage is having the knowledge to do it yourself. We just need a plan of attack when trying to make horsepower. Its like I talk about in my "Mod for Dummies" post.

Theres no greater feeling then knowing that your car sounds and hauls the way it does because you worked on it yourself. Like you and your swap ,you feel good about it cuz your hands got dirty. So now your having some fun with it. Dont worry ,you will break 300 sooner than later.

dude, i need a "Mod Your Own Car For Dummies" book. i'm scared if i touch anything i'l screw it up. and i don't want to pay for EVERYTHING. i wish i knew as much about messing with cars as i do with my other hobbies.

anyway, with Longtubes shouldn't you be right about 300 Fry?

also, what you run in the 1/4?
