they do help a small bit, but IMO the iridium plugs are not worth the extra $$$ or hassel, i have run the denso iridiums's before and they only last a short period of time before they have to be changed again compared to coppers or platniums, and you have to be very careful when attempting to gap them. i would say go with some autolites or motorcraft copper or platnium plugs with either some msd 8.5mm wires or ford racing 9mm.
explain your car's studdering? does it happen at idle or throughout the rpm range?

well i already got the autolite iridiums put on, but like when i hit the gas to get on it a lil bit it feels like....it takes off like it should and then it just feels like your being held back from how it should be performing, but the new plugs and wires stopped it so i guess it was just a misfire....alot...lol so i aint worried about it now. Maybe i can do a brake stand now....

cool, glad you resolved your issue, just from previous experiances the iridiums are really prone to fouling, but atleast now you know what that feels like. how did the old plugs look, what was their gap?

was wondering, because by examining your old plugs could give you some insight into how your motor is running, for example oil deposits or a lean or rich condition.
