Overdrive Question?
OK, my 98 GT has this overdrive button. WHat does this thing do?
I have an automatic, if that means anything. I had it off one time and when I was going 65 back to the house it sounded louder. Like it needed to go faster or something, IDK. Is it better to have it off or what? I ended up turning it on at the light though. THanks. |

yea its pretty nice .. when u have it on and ur cruisin at lk 50 -60 mph it will stay around 2000-2500 rpm's n giv a nicer sound but like jersey said if ur lineing up with sum1 then switch it off

+1 to all that. Yeah switch it off at start, then when u make it through that third gear, turn it on to go into the fourth gear.
