4 cats?


Discussing 4 cats? in the 96-98 Forum. Why would my 96 Cobra vert have 4 cats on it? Anyone know?...

Why would my 96 Cobra vert have 4 cats on it? Anyone know?

Not for sure but my 98 GT came with 6 of them.

same here. just to control emissions. only way Ford would be able to get these cars out on the road

I believe it is 4 cats and 2 resonators.

You definately need an o/r pipe. Sounds like a different car afterwards

it has flowmaster muffs, sounds a lot better than the 97 cobra w/bbk's on it. It could sound even better?

w/o cats you mean? yes, very much so.

my car has 2 cats after each exhaust manifold as well, for 4 total. Extra emmissions controls FTL.

No I put on a Bassnai off road X-pipe. I lost about 50 lbs in weight.
