npi-pi questions?
I'm thinking about converting my npi to a pi, but I have a few concerns, I know the compresion will raise but, does that mean more stress on the engine, which equals out to more mantianance. Also, I heard if I p&p the heads, the compression will lower; is that true? One other reason I wanted the swap, besides the hp gains, I was told the pi intake will provide a better exhaust note, is that also true?

Ahh , I missed this one. Your compression will raise, this will not really effect a N/a engine enough to hurt anything. You cannot open the chamber enough to lower the compression any more than 0.10:1 . Just keep in mind that compression ratios are figures in two ways static and dynamic. Static will be figured by simple measurements, dynamic is figured from working compenents and can have many variables that may lower static figures.
