98 gt Difficult to start and stalling

I have a 98 gt 5 sp. and it can be very difficult to start. Another part of the problem is that sometimes when the car comes down to idle, it dies. Sometimes it'll fire right up after stalling and sometimes it barely starts. We found that it's not getting spark when it won't start, and when it does get spark it fires right up. The plugs and wires were replaced about a year ago so I don't think that they're the issue. Tested the coil packs and they came out ok. Anyone got an ideas or know some common issues? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!

I don't think it's the battery because its fairly new, and it's getting the correct voltage. I'll try the sensors and see how it does.
Thanks for the help guys

It is your IAC (idle air control). Replace it, sounds like its to far gone to just clean.

I just recalled. We had a 2000 4.6 stang come in the shop throwing cam sensor codes. We replaced the cam sensors and 2 days later it was back. Then one of the old techs recalled a problem he encountered once. He then installed a new alternator and the problem was solved. I really dont know why, but it fixed it.

Good news guys, I dropped the crankshaft sensor and camshaft sensor in today and she fired right up. Ran great when I took it out for a drive, no stalling or any of the previous problems yet. I appreciate the help you guys gave me. Thanks again
