Car just dying

So i recently changed my battery and when breaking with the car in gear and foot on clutch my RPMS drop down to zero and the car just shuts off. Radio stays on so i'm not losing power or anything, and I'm pretty sure it only happens when i do what i just described. It's only done it 4 or 5 times.

I'd check out the IAC to see if it's gunked up and clean it.

Did you get this fixed yet ? Check your fuses under the hood. Same thing happened to me after messing with my aftermarket radio.

Blew a fuse ,plus the speedo didnt work.

Mine used to do exactly what your talking about after a changed my clutch. My spedomoter didnt work right either. My problem was that a few of my wires were cut while changing the clutch and we didnt notice. So like Fryrice said, if you didnt get it fixed yet u should check your wires and fuse.

I'm bringing it into the shop after business hours to do some work on the car...

my output shaft seal is leaking and i"m gonna change that, and clean the IAC.

I think I've put 2k on the car since june 6th, when i did my last oil change. I pretty much haven't been driving her all that much, sometimes she sits for days without getting cranked over.

I haven't really been in the car with her running 100%. Since I got the car something small and stupid has gone wrong, and as soon as I fix 1 problem the next arises.

Thats y this summer I barely drove the thing, only really as a last resort. I've even got a power stearing leak somewhere.......

Cars in fucking great condition though, just stupid fucking problems that the old owner obviously didn't want to be bothered with so he just hocked it.

That makes two power steering leaks. Hope you get her 100% healthy soon.
