Anyone know anything about Bullitt Heads/intake swap?

How much modding would you have to do to swap a Bullitt GT's heads/intake into a 96-98? Would u see more horsepower than just a PI? I've only heard of it being done a few times. Would anyone recommend it? or anything else...thanks

Make sure the intake comes with all the BS like throttle and CC cables, etc., because I think Ford discontinued all the Bullit intake parts. Other than that, it should be exactly like any other PI swap.

I think the Bullit Mustang was rated 5hp more than a PI GT (265hp). The Bullit intake intake shines more as you mod (cams, LT's, boost, etc.,).

I think the intake will add about 15lbs to the nose of the car.

their is no such thing as bullit heads, just that intake, instead of going that route why dont you port your npi heads throw a cam and get the SVO intake which is pretty much the same thing as the bullit

The SVOis a four banger turbo, but they SVO heads and intake for the 2V are the best out there.

SVO actually was "Special Vehicle Operations", a department of Ford and may even still be exsist. The SVO modular heads are cabable of flowing 4 valve numbers when ported.

I'm not even sure they are cast anymore. They were not really big sellers at first, no there is more of a market for them.
