supercharger pulley


needing to find a 10lb pulley for vortech/powerdyne blowers, any1 know what size the 10lb pulleys are? i wanna say its a 3.60 pulley but im not 100% so if u guys know what size i need and know where to find one it would be greatly appreciated...

vortechsuperchargers.com , I have a 3.8 and it boosts 8 at red line, so a 3.6 ought to be the one. $77 + shipping. I ordered a 3.4 and haven't got it on yet. hope it doesn't knock the bottom end out when I do.

what kind of supporting mods do u have......

12 lbs of boost is pushin it....especially if ur running more then a S/C

the 3.6" pulley is the one that comes with the supercharger(stock) i had that one on my mustang and it gave me 8lbs of boost 3.48 or 3.40 should give 8lbs i believe

Can i ask why you went with the powerdyne supercharger? i heard they were pos.

vortech told me u get maximum boost at red line. bigger injectors, fuel managment thingy lol (can't think) t-rex fuel pump, bbk headers, chip, not a built motor as far as I know.

dont believe all you hear, mine has been rebuilt by 928 motorsports to support some more boost, i got the whole kit for 700, and figured boost is boost. it runs good ill say that much, and b4 i bought it i spent countless days researching powerdynes history and what causes their failure, and found out that its usually user error, trying to over spin the stock blower.

anyways, im thinking im going with the 2.70 pulley, i really just wanna see more then 5lbs outta it lol

We expect shit to break, look foward to realizing exactly when it is happening, and than obsess about dropping plenty of cash to rebuild stronger, so we can try to run it hard as hell and break again. We are sick individuals.

never got it tuned just run the fmu. we had it on the dyno and stoped at 4k (had an issue with the dyno guy) and put dwn 235/377 only seeing 2lbs of boost at tht point in 100 degree weather, with the only other mod being an xpipe...
