yeah good ideo..im just swapping a 4v motor into minie and forging it and a lil head work..

If this 3v swap is cheaper than a 4v swap, I think it will be worth it. If not, it may be easier to just add a blower, or for equal complications go 4v.

what is the diffrence between 05 block and pre 05 i haver a 05 5.4 short block was going to drop in my 02 gt will this block need special motor mounts

yea youll need to modify the mount that the main difference between 05 and up and pre 05 blocks

Any ideas why the newer 3V 4.6 motors are ALOT cheaper than a 4.6 PI???

Only diference in the block is that it is aluminum. You dont have to mod a thing. You need an adaptor kit to run your new edge exhaust manifolds/headers and 03-04 cobra throttle body. Not only is the 3V easy and cheaper than a 4V, the heads damn near flow the same. The motor is also lighter.
