go new or stay old


ok quick question some friends of mine say that the motor in a new or 2000 mustang is way better and has way more power than the 98 do u guys think i should keep putting more in my 98 or do u think i should just get a newer pony

the difference between the 96-98 and the 99-04 is the heads , cams, and intake.

but if you swap these parts from the newer motor onto your car your compression will raise into no so friendly boost levels.

u can still run boost......

just not big boost.

if your 98 is in good shape i would just stick with it. unless you just really want the newer style i dont see the point in spending the extra money when you could just rebuild the motro in yours. take the money and apply it to your car, youll come out ahead. just my .02
