Stock Throttle body and plenum
my buddy wants to keep the running horse on the plenum.
is it possible to port and polish a throttle body and plenum and get the same results as going with an aftermarket setup?

The plenum can be ported but it will not yeild the same power as an aftermarket. Polishing anything on the induction system will show a power loss, an 80-120 grit finish is all that is needed and will actually increase the velocity.
