intake manifold cracked... got a new one but havin problems

96 gt 5 speed. my intake manifold had cracked so i had gotten a replacement. I had installed the new one, but now its acting up all wierd and i have no idea what the problem could be. it sounds like the car isnt getting enough fuel. I know i hooked everything up back to the way it was. Whenever i step on the the pedal and try to accelerate, it will bog down and almost stall.. i dont know what else to say if anyone has had any problems like this or know what to do please help me out! thanks!

sounds like a mis to me. Any CEL? Did you happen to get coolant down one of the plug holes?

a miss? any cel? please explain? im not sure a friend was doing it and im trying to find out for him. that was the description he gave to me

yes there is a cel. not sure what the code is tho. how would you a fix a cylinder misfire? what would cause that in the first place?

a few things.......

get the code read and find out what it is......

u can most likely fix it by either blowing out the wholes u plug the wires and spark plug into, or u may have wires crossed somewhere...

what would be the best way to blow out the holes? the only way ill be able to get the code read would be to take it to the autoparts store. do you think this is my only problem?

were honestly not going to know until u get that code read...

get it read and we can go from there.....

when i did my intake swap a peace of tape got into the #3 or 4 cylinder after we blew everything out, and caused a miss.

u could have also gotten coolent on the wires...etc....
