Anyone w/SVO experience?

I recently added an SVO intake and Sean Hyland cams to my '99(yeah I know what forum I am on!). The car also has 4.10's, UDP's and an SCT Xcal2. The cams have .495" lift and 230* duration. Now with the change I went .4-.5 SLOWER! I know it is due to a .2 slower 60' as the cams have no bottom end and the intake is not really for bottom end either though the cams have been described as SMALL by some on the depot. Here is my plan
1. Change the stock but modded converter for a dirtydog 3200-3400rpm unit.
2. Here is the KEY. DYNO tune. Does anyone know of a dyno tuner in or near central, NY who KNOWS these cars? A really top notch tuner? THX!

A google search for "torque converter stall" will do the best job but here goes. Converter is a bit like the clutch in a stick car, it completes the connection between the engine and driveshaft. What the converter does is "slip" a little so that the car does not stall at stops for one thng. It also revs the motor quicker to enhance accelleration. The stock stall of the converter in a GT is from 2350 to 2750rpm's or there about. Mine was around 2600rpm. Find the steepest hill you can and put the tranny shifter in 2nd gear and as you are into the steep part of the hill "goose" the throttle and watch the tach and where it goes to and stops is the approximate stall.
There is also brake stall where you stand on the brake while slowly adding throtttle until the tires break lose. Last is flash stall and is usually the best way to gain the best et's. Just rev the motor to a little light load, say 1000-1200rpm's, and when the light says launch time just nail the throtle and the converter should rev t it's max capable rpm.
The converter also multiplies the engines torque for a short time until there is a 1 to 1 ratio between the engine and tranny.
A higher stall is one of the best bang for the bucks for an automatic car as long as you do an external tranny oil cooler also as they do create extra heat but get the car have much better 60' times and the general rule of thumb is each .1 off the launch is going to equal .2 at the end of the race!
I may have my stock reworked, beefed, restalled unit on ebay so look around if interested in gaining about .1-.2 of the 60' and more from the 1/4. THX

That will be my first change. Alan, aka Dirtydog said the stock unit cannot go much over 2800rpm and his is a 3200-3400rpm unit but maybe a little lower now due to loss of low end torque but still 500rpm more stall and a 10" compared to a heavier 11.25" will make a diffrence in "spool" speeds. I think headers are still out. There is a thread around a site, maybe here but I think the depot where a guy spent who knows how many hours and the results are still not spectacticular even with internal mods. thx
