Upgrades
hi everyone. i'm new to MM. i've got a 98' GT and for my birthday, my wife is allowing me to buy some upgrades for my car. i was thinking of buying a set of PI heads, a Typhoon intake manifold, and JLT intake. i was thinking if i can get a set of used pi heads, i can get a set of CompCams Stage 1 cams. what kind of power gain can i see from these parts?

I would reccommend just going with the PI intake manifold with the aluminum crossover. I have heard bad stuff about the Typhoon. The full PI swap will give you roughly 50+ HP. Not sure on the comp cams. i have them as well, but still in the box and not installed yet. some other great mods would be
75mm TB and Upper Plentum Long Tube headers Gears(I prefer 3.73's) yes JLT is prob the best CAI for out cars. good choice!

The best gears for your car would be a set of 4.10's.

depends on which blown you are talking about. A roots style blower, i.e. Kenne Bell, I would say 3.73s but all other types i would say 4.10s unless more than 15 PSI

well a turbo makesdecnt torque so a 3.73 will probably be best. Although if it were my car I would put in a 4.10 because a turbo has to spool up like a centrifugal blower. Now if it was a positive displacement blower 3.73s would be just fine.
