Bullitt Intake?

I just bought a bullitt intake to go on my PI heads for my 96 GT. I plan on putting a mild cam (stage 1) in the PI heads. I am also going to put a stroker rotating assembly in as well. What I want to know is should I put on an aftermarket throttle body or would the bullitt intake give me enought flow for my application. Or should I just have the the intake extrude hoaned to get more flow

I agree, I would go with either the 75mm or 70mm Accufab.

Actually you cant get the accufab 75 for the bullitts. You buy the same thing as the cobra tb. I think its a 80 oval that you buy.

Port matching the intake to the heads will yield a little more up, but if you don't have the funds the bullitt intake its self will work really great.

I would be creful tho and see if you can fgind some flow numbers. It is possible to have too much TB and stall the air coming in to the intake. For instance, on a stock mustang with a Trickflow Plenum. The 75mm TB actually flows less than the 70mm TB. Now since you will be stroked and have new intake (I hope you have Headers and Heads to Compliment that), You will atleast be at the 75mm range but I don't know that you would be quite up to the 90mm flow that I believe the cobra's use. That is FI territory.

i was looking into buying a throttle body but it doesn't look like anyone makes them other than accufab. they are pretty pricey.I Just wanted to know with the set up I'm going to have should I fork out the money and by the TB when the stock flow around 1000cfm
