Question

Missfire Or Something?


Hey guys i replaced the wires and only one spar plug not enough patients for that the one that i took out did not really look bad though

well anyway i was just wondering how and when will i know that i screwed something up lol

well at idle the rpm's are a little bit lower but it feels good and sounds good

Well it's probably okay then... they are probably just firing enough now where the car doesn't have to up the rpms via the ecu to keep the car running... I wouldn't worry about it.

Although either way I'd change out the rest of the spark plugs. I know it's a bitch but what I do is take a spark plug socket and a 5/8 deep socket... use the spark plug one to take them out and use the 5/8th to put them in, saves time since you don't get the sockets stuck in there... oh and make sure you have atleast a 6 inch extension

lol yea i got the spark plug deep socket(meant for plugs) i got the extension and ughhhh im gonna change the rest of em tommorow it is such a pain thanks man i did not think anything was wrong i was just wanting to know so i can fix it at the first sign thanks ill tell you how it goes

If you think changing the spark plugs are a pain, then you better have alot of money to do the mods you mentioned in another post. Because if the plugs whip your ass that easy, your not cutout for doing the rest of the mods. Try changing the spark plugs on a 5.4 3v in an expedition, with rear HVAC and COP's!

ur car will throw a CEL when u misfire

he's right.....i find doing shit like that a bitch and when we did PI intake and cams on my car i woulda been like a piece of fried chicken in fat camp. FUCKED. Thankfully i did it with a friend, so i was basically walked through the entire process. He even held my hand

last friday i got in my car to go to work and i noticed my car was acting weird.. tell my dad he starts it up says its misfiring bad...checked the plugs and two of them were soaked with water...dried it out with a rag and runs great now

well i washed rinsed it again with the hose today just to see..and its fine so weird...
