Stock Cobra Block and GT Block the same??

Yes, I'm learning! lol
Just wondering if they were the same? I want to have an engine built and would like to use 4v heads. Will my stock GT block accept them?? Is the stock GT block a good base? Basically, whats a good direction to go in if I want about 500-600 horses or maybe more and it be a street/ some strip (for fun) car.

thanks

Nope, get a 96-98 Cobra block and start from there. If you want anything higher then 450 RWHP.... put some forged internals in it.

Thanks, I had heard that the weird pistons in the cars were not very strong if you wanted to crank up the boost with a supercharger or something.
Thanks.
